As an owner of CDJ900s and DJM 850 mixer I can honestly say its a great set up, brilliant in fact. But that said I doubt I would have bought that kit to start out with. If you really want something that replicates a club set up but without blowing a pile of cash I recon the XDJ-R1 would be perfect.
I think if that had been out when I was looking at CDJs I may have gone that route. I still might buy one yet but in addition to the CDJs as the convinience of a single unit would realy suit me sometimes.
