This is something i’ve been thinking of making for a long time, and now i finally have. I’m still working a few little things, and then i’ll release the first beta. I wonder who here on djtt can guess what it is???

This is my “Software Super Knob!”
As you may know; the new Midifighter Pro’s, and the VCI-100 SE, feature super knobs/faders that send out multiple midi commands. These controllers do it with some very clever coding in the hardware.
Well that’s great, but what are the people with other controllers to do. This is where the “Software Super Knob” comes in.
It’s all fairly simple, one knob controlling 2 knobs in different ranges and two buttons. In my program just set the midi input to your controller, set the extra knob and 2 buttons to the midi CC/notes you want, and set the midi output to a midi yoke to send all the info to traktor. The original CC for the knob stays the same, and the rest of the midi info is left untouched and sent to traktor. In traktor all you have to do is set the input to the midi yoke that you set in my app, and the output to your controller.
Right now it only supports one knob, but the final version will have 4.
So what do you all think? How many of you would use it? Anybody want to beta test it?

Have added 4 super knobs, and a midi learn function. Keep your eyes open for this in the next few weeks.
Just wanted to drop by and let everyone know that this is still underway; and i haven’t forgotten about my DJTT family. My day job has been keeping me super busy lately, i haven’t even played out in over 2 months, well i did a demo/presentation at a local hip hop youth center, but that doesn’t really count.
I did however use this software there, and it performed beautifully.
Here’s a list of features that have been added, and ones coming soon.
Added
-Programmable Start/Stop(On/Off) points for the virtual knobs(buttons).
-Editable CC values for each output.
-Support for up to 4 “Super Knobs”.
In Development
-Drop in virtual buttons/knobs.
(Right now the app is preset to have 2 virtual buttons and 2 virtual knobs for each physical knob.)
-Preset Save
(There is a crude save feature, like on my SMS fix app, but i’m working on something more refined for this.)
-Drop in “Super Knobs”
(Allowing the user to turn every knob/fader on there controller into a super knob.)
