Hey man, i was in the same place as you just a couple months ago. I’m no expert now, but I like to give back to a community that has been so helpful to me when I see a problem I can help on. Have fun jamming out on that piece of kit man! My first night with the vci was loads of fun, and I dont have the shiny SE arcade version, just a self modded silver.
Yeah me and my friend have been having crazy fun. I may not know how to use everything but juggling cues is fun specially with some bloody beatroots 8) thanks again.
If you are on the latest mapping, I wholey recomend Fader Fx mode, but I like a fiilter 92 lfo in place of the delay (a la Eans X1 videos). The dedicated beatslicer and echo effects are really nice too, and a gater in advanced mode with just normal fx controls can add a lot to a song.

I’m running the latest mapping on snow leopard. I’ve played around with it some more, and but once it gets stuck in fader fx mode i have to restart everything.
well, rather than restarting, you can just reset the VCI, which will unfreeze it. This isnt a good fix though. I’ve not experienced the problem myself, but I think that some guys over on the thread I mentioned have. I’m not sure if there has been a fix for this yet unfortunatly.
