Problem with Vci-100se and Audio 4 Sound card

i decided to play with my vci and start DJing again.
i installed:

traktor pro 2 1.2.1 (R12125)
Audio 4 Sound Card with 3.1.0 drivers
vci-100se 1.3 firmwire
v3.6.4 mapping

on windows 7

i start up traktor and turn on the vci. everything is good. the mappings work fine and i can play music.
i hook up the NI Audio 4 sound card so i can use my headphones and that when i run into problems.

i can play music but the i am unable to use the vci. its like the mappings disappear and i am unable to use any of the controls.

i was able to use this setup with no problems with traktor pro 1 on my friends mac and on the laptop i am using now…but that was a long time ago. i havent tried using this with traktor pro 1 since.

i tried searching the threads but i can find anything on this.

what am i doing wrong and how can i fix this? im very noob at all this:open_mouth:
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Please post a screenshot of the Traktor Controller Manager, with your VCI100 connected and selected as the MIDI device within Device Setup

also frank, go back to the 2.015 drivers for the audio 4, the newer ones suck :slight_smile:

i can use all of the cue buttons, eq’s, fader fx’s, load tracks, loops, etc… i havent tried cue juggling yet, but im sure it works fine.

i cant use the volume faders and cross faders. they dont do anything and dont show up on the screen. however they do work when i am using the fader fx.

i havent tried using the new drivers yet. i’ll give that a shot later on today.

any ideas/suggestions?

you are in external mode. switch back to internal mode in the audio setup.
