Need help with mapping a Blinking LED

So i’m using Traktor Pro 3.2 and DDJ-SR and i’m trying to make the LED for Play/Pause blink while the track isn’t playing. I’ve tried using beat phase, but only got as far as getting it to blink while playing.
I’ve looked at more or less all the posts about blinking LEDs but some of the useful ones seem outdated or incomplete.

The LED is a normal On/Off LED.

So basically

Play - LED On
Pause - LED Blinking

If you don’t use the Loop Recorder, you can map it’s “Playback Position” output to display

If i don’t use Loop Recorder? I tried playing around with Playback Position but i dont really know how to set it up
