Need recommendation of active!!! software for Repair and fulfill MP3 tags of tracks

Dear DJ’s.

I’m looking for active!!! software for Repair and fulfill damaged MP3-tags.
Everybody knows about the disaster of missing this critical data when we missing tracks since
we can’t locate them when we building up set or playlist.

When I wrote active software, I mean for application that connect on line to database like “discogs” or
Amazon and get all the missing information of each file and fulfill it with: year,genre,etc’

currently I’m using passive software that let me edit & fulfill manually for each song file but
I have thousands of file.
I had tried some applications but they were discovered as one big crap and not really did they job.

Hi everyone,

I’ve had decent results with Mp3tag for most tagging jobs, but if you just need something quick in the browser without installing anything, I’ve also used https://editmp3tags.com/ a few times. It works well for basic tag editing and fixing missing metadata. I’d still keep a backup of your files before doing large batches, regardless of which tool you use.
