New Behringer Kit

New Behringer Kit

See http://www.behringer.com/EN/Category/USB-MIDI-Controllers.aspx?s=O500 & prices are on various pics at http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.313207278720405.68435.114193768621758&type=1

$99 - $149 for the modulars
$199 for the mixtrack type dual decks (with no balanced out - bit of a fail)

Need to see the build quality as ever with Behringer, but they do look nice

CMD Studio 4A - $199.99 - no balanced out tho :disappointed: - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/CMD-STUDIO-4A.aspx

CMD MM-1 $149.99 (usb hub in back) - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/CMD-MM-1.aspx

CMD DC-1 $99.99 - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/CMD-DC-1.aspx

CMD PL-1 $149.99 - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/CMD-PL-1.aspx

CMD Micro (don’t know price - couldn’t care less - not interested in this one!) - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/CMD-MICRO.aspx

Also (not on Behringer website at the moment, from L>R)
CMD DC-1 - already shown above
CMD LC-1 $149.99
CMD DVS-1 $99.99

Errm - WOW! Hoping they are built as good as they look.

Velocity sensitive pads on the drum pad looking module?

I think the ableton clip launch might work really well for me and I’ll just turn it sideways so I have access to more than 4 tracks…solo and muting may be an issue though, might just be better to stick with the APC40.

Behringer updated website with another:

CMD LC-1 $149.99 - http://www.behringer.com/EN/products/CMD-LC-1.aspx (although the description on this page is for the PL-1!!)

& finally… (these pages are going live as I type this - bleeding edge  )

CMD DVS-1 - http://www.behringer.com/EN/products/CMD-DVS-1.aspx

This one is called DV-1 also on some areas of Behringer’s website (and the markings on some of the units say “DV-1” also…

i’m gonna buy the mixer model, i just hope so much that they are a bit rugged…

I got more for you here - actual pictures instead of renders: http://www.skratchworx.com/newspage.php4?fn_mode=comments&fn_id=1886

nice, I like Behringer products! Something you can buy cheap and if it breaks buy spilling a drink or getting knocked over at a gig not care so much. Glad to see them getting into the controller end of things again! DC-1 and LC-1 would make for a good Ableton controller..

you gonna get to the Vestax Booth or what? lol, I want to see what they were promising as a new replacement to the VCM-600!!!

great article gizmo

Any Idea on a release date?

And what do the x-fader and knobs feel like?

wow… suddenly it’s not just “k2 and/or new NI controller”… :stuck_out_tongue: these are some really interesting alternatives. guess i’ll be waiting to find out more about these before jumping on the k2 as soon as it’s out now. they should probably have released the k2 a month ago :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh shitz, I’m getting really excited after seeing the skratchworx pics…

Their DJ controller looks like it’d kick the Ergo’s ass.

The clip launcher looks AWESOME 2 of them paired up with the mixer I WANT !

The lineup looks really superbly “pro”

Prices are ridiculous!

and to top it all off !

yes! exactly what I was gonna type! 3 year warranty=big step up.
I’m definitely going to check out these controllers.. especially since there’s more LEDs on the Mixer controller.
I hate how inaccurate the LEDs are on the Traktor S4..

fuckme - Behringer have absolutely nailed it… the rest of the competition should be very worried.

indeed

having looked again i still think the K2 would be a better fit for me to control eq/kills/levels/transport for 4 decks but it’s going to come in at about 210gbp and MM-1 more like 150usd? hmmm… think i might change my mind on the K2. they would have sold a heap more if they’d actually released it before this lot.

the PL-1 would be a great dnsc2000 alternative…

DVS-1 for 99usd??? could be awesome for effects control in traktor… tho so would the DC-1 for some hybrid of direct effect control and instant grat type pads…

not sure why the LC-1 is 150usd and not 100usd but still looks great.

edit: guess the multi color leds in the LC-1 pushes the price up with that one

I could quite easily see myself getting the all-in-one controller. Finally a low-cost controller with nice long pitch faders.

They seem to have covered every base, I expect to see a lot of these everywhere soon, especially with the price!

nice long pitch faders on that studio 4a and 14bit too. decent control over 2 decks and 2 effects units plus hot cues anyway.

the prices are almost insanely good… hopefully they don’t make the same mistake as A&H with the K2 and take ages to actually sell them…

Cheers for the article. My VCI400 plans got binned today (Ean - you can take me off your VCI400 pre-order list! :open_mouth: )

Imagining how to map these, and for once, I have TOO MANY controls - sweet, no more shift buttons or modifiers!

Going to be watching this thread with great interest. :stuck_out_tongue:
