Wouldn’t it make more sense to maintain the super small super light style? World’s smallest DJ soundcard and all that… most likely update would be to make it EVEN smaller!

There is no new Audio 2. It remains unchanged.

I dont think there is anything that you could do to an Audio 2 to improve it whilst keeping it at the same price.

Makes sense. After all, it’s the only card in the “old” Audio 2/4/8 line-up which is still widely available.

Anyone want to tell me why they arrange the plugs the way they do?

I’m not the biggest fans of Rane’s design with inputs on one side and outputs on the other…but it makes more sense than NI’s design…it’s a lot faster to change out cards, for example.

what’s wrong with NI’s design? Everything you’re likely to plug into other gear such as mixers and TTs on one side, everything you need access to like headphone port on the other. Seems pretty logical to me.

As long as it’s only the extra inputs on the front side, cool. The SL4 looks more straightforward to me as there’s less chance of a wrong connection in the dark. But…it’s still probably going to come down to price between the SL4 and Audio 10 for me.
