NI Kontrol S4 sound card; is it any good?

Searching didn’t help, and since this information is very important to me at the moment I need your help =)

I’m wondering what the quality of the S4’s on-board sound card is like; is it any good? Can I safely plug this onto a club setup without having to fear that the sound gets bad as is the case with my current Hercules DJ Console RMX? Or do have to buy an external sound card such as the Audio 8 (or 10, the new one).

Would like to know, kind of important to me since I have to play on friday and I don’t want to show up with a bunch of cr*p.

Yes, It’s the same quality of the rest of NI’s soundcards.

Be confident, it is good. BTW with ANY setup it’s NEVER a bad idea to have a spare soundcard, Audio 2 is just perfect, fit everywhere, sounds good, works also for headphones…

So the Audio 2 DJ has the same audio quality as the Audio 8? In that case buying an Audio 2 DJ will get me through the months until I’ve saved up enough for an S4!
