NI Kontroll F1 vs. Midifightrer 3D - Traktor 2.5 Remix Decks

Hi folks.

just starting to dig into the new remix decks in traktor 2.5

the new kontrol F1 looks pretty powerful, but buttons wise i think i would prefer the midifighters arcade buttons. i could imagine, that the 3D feature will compensate some of the missing 4 knobs and faders on the midifighter 3D compared to the F1…

i´m curious about your opinions and thoughts comparing both controllers assuming that there will be a midifighter 3D Mapping for the NI T 2.5 Remix Decks in early future…

setup:
macbook pro i7, OSX 10.6.8, NI Traktor 2.5, 4midiloop, NI Maschine, midifighter classic (… on my way )

In case you didn’t know the remix decks are not mappable right now.

Don’t give up hope though. There’s been progress on mapping them to Lemur on iOS.

And some mysterious way here using Touch OSC. He promises to spill the beans soon and says it will control anything the mouse can do with any hardware.

The F1 is an AWESOME piece of gear. Well built, great buttons, vivid RGB colors. I LOVE IT
