Hi, I have searched but couldn’t find a walkthrough as such.
I am going to Spain for a wedding and have been asked to play so music at the reception. I don’t want to have to take my Twitch due to baggage restrictions etc so though I could use my Ipad to control Traktor running on windows 7.
Can anyone point me in the direction of an easy to follow walk through of how to set it up and how to add templates to TouchOSC?
That first vid is for a mac. Windows doesnt have virtual midi accessibility and would require a 3rd party app such a Bones (others available). I dont use it, so cant be of any further help ik afraid.
That 1st vid above ^^^ is a bit out of date now.
You don’t need osculator or pure data anymore as touchosc sends midi itself now, which can all be mapped via the touchosc editor program.
Yes if it’s jailbroken - I’m sure some1 that can use the search button at the top can find it for you and talk you thro it.
I use 2 midi to USB leads, a camera connection kit and 2 midi to midi connectors which cost me less than £20 all in iirc.
It’s pretty good over wifi tho, even thro my router the lag isn’t too bad (no wifi on that PC) so an adhoc network or using their bridge should bring the latency as low as a wireless mouse or keyboard.
