Novation SL MKII and Traktor pro advanced mapping issue
Hello,
I am trying to map the controller, which is Novation Sl MkII.
I figured out how to map all sliders and rotary controls - they work just fine.
The problem is when i try to map cue and cup buttons.
I can’t make them work straight away after one press - they work only if pressed twice to enable operation and then again pressing twice to disable operation. Does anyone knows what it may be?
sounds like the controler is setup with those buttons as toggles - so the button only sends out midi data when u press it - i.e: not another message when you release it.
you need to change the “interaction mode” option in the controller editor. i forget which you’ll need but theres only 3 to choose from in this case - assuming you have “type” set as button.

Have you ever tried to edit controller’s interaction mode? What type of editor I need to use and can I do this via USB cable? Because last time when I tried to update firmware on SL MKII I had to take it to the shop, because update is only possible via MIDI interface..

by “interaction mode” i mean in the controller edit within traktor. select the mapping that controller is using - then find the control you need to change and then select different interaction modes etc until you find what works for your controller etc.
