Hey guys, so for all the Novation Twitch owners out there who are thinking about modding their Twitch’s with the new DJTT knobs and faders, how do you think they will fit?
I was looking into getting some to mod out my Twitch, but I’m worried about how well the knobs will fit?
On the DJTT store page it says “Knobs sit high on controller”
So does that mean it wouldn’t be a good fit, or maybe it wouldn’t look or feel too good? I don’t want to spend $$$ and then it doesn’t look or feel good.
I just wanted to get an idea of how well a fatter knob is spaced with the filter knob (trim knob on the default mapping). If you could let me know that’s be awesome.
Okay that makes me feel better. I was doing a gig and I turned around and the force from my jacket zipper hitting the fader moved it from deck A to deck B -_-
These feel GREAT, they are slightly wider than the originals and fit flush, definately not as cool as DJTTs of course but they are a straight fit, no modding needed.
Also added some padding on the faders for a better feel…Has anyone changed the volume faders with better ones??? Link would be very appreciated…
Love the pictures. I was wondering about how I should go about getting the original faders off the twitch. Do I just pull it off, or is there a technique to it?
Inside the cap theres a plastic stopper. If you take a thin screwdriver, ( i used a letter opener), you can apply pressure at the base of the stopper and knock it right out and then the cap will fit perfectly on all knobs. Even the super knobs work for the pitch and browse but i didnt like having a marker for endless knobs so i used the aluninum ones
your method of fixing that sit high knob has got me interesting to but DJTT knobs again. Could you please post some photo how perfect of the knob in the Twitch layout?
Thank for your fast reply sinfm. It seem like its still look really cool though. How about the fader? I heard someone mention that DJTT fader cap will make the volume fader lose up and down by themselves.
The fader caps are pretty useless on the Twitch. There’s too much play and they are VERY easy to accidentally tilt on the post which then makes the base of the caps drag on the faceplate of the Twitch.
What am I missing in this technique? I see the stopper. I apply pressure. The stopper stubbornly remains. I apply pressure and twist. I apply pressure and angle. The stopper stubbornly remains.

Whew, got it. After ruining a knob or two by applying too much pressure, and after breaking out the mallet and X-Acto knives, I finally found the right sized jeweler’s screwdriver. For me, it was pressure to the side of the stopper, followed by a twisting/rotating around the stopper similar to a slow hand-drill. After I finally figured out what worked for me, it was relatively quick and easy.
