Numark Mixtack Pro Vs Reloop Digital Jocky 2 interface

I purchased a copy of Traktor pro and looking for a controller under 300$ to use to play at parties. I have it narrowed down to the Numark Mixtack Pro or Reloop Digital Jocky 2 interface. Which one do yall prefer and why? I was told the people on this forum would know! Thanks for the help!

The Numark Mixtrack pro is 230$ on ebay
The Reloop Digital Jocky 2 interface is 300$ on ebay

Since the price is very close I wouldn’t mind spending the extra 70$ if the Reloop Digital Jocky 2 is better.

the quality of the components of the DJ2 are much better than the Mixtrack, so much so that you could buy it second hand, I wouldn’t say that about the mixtrack, I have used one for two years, as long as you dont destroy the cup, cue and play buttons it will last you fine

I also like build quality of Reloop,much more than mixtrack’s.
I have Mixage, and i enjoy it very well.
I was tying mixtrack @ show, and i did’nt like the build quality, it’s very plastic and feels like it will broke in youre hands.

But as for functionality, i thing they bouth are almost the same.

Thanks for the quick replys. There is a youtube video comparing the two along with the vestax typhoon.

I read most of the comments the other day from the you tube video and it seemed like 90% of the people were for the mixtrack pro. I never did figure the exact reason why the vast majority of the people preferred it over the other two.

Any feedback would be great in comparing the two aforementioned controllers. I am more concerned about functions than build quality. I am not going to be rough with either one.

Ive been using a Mixtrack Pro for about a month now (so not exactly a professional yet) but anyway I don’t think it will fall apart in your hands unless you are the type to do this at a show/party/etc. The only complaint I have is that the buttons are a little stiff but they do their job. I’m using VDJ on Vista and have no latency complaints. The DJTT Chroma Caps fit well too. As for the soundcard, it has two RCA outputs on the back and a 1/4" TRS headphone on the front as well as a 1/4" TRS mic input next to the headphone jack.
I have no experience with the RDJ2.

I’d say the Reloop, better build quality, better buttons not as plasticky and it’s easier to fit in a backpack.

It seems like both are great units and just depends on who you talk to. Since it seems both will do the job I decided to save 70$ and go with the (mixtrack pro). I will just have to make sure I am not too rough with it.
