Numark N4 Traktor Pro 2 Mapping

So there it is: My Traktor Pro 2 Mapping for the Numark N4. I add a manual which describes the buttons and their functions. Please be aware, this mapping is designed for me and my special needs.

So please comment and post ideas for customizations and improvements.

I just went through your explanation of the controls/midi-mapping for the N4.
Nice job! Must have taken you quite some time to put it al together.

Hello,

I used the default tsi from the numark site which is almost to my satisfactory. But I wanted to use the video/x-fader buttons for assigning effect units 1 and 2 for deck A through D. For some reason buttons on the left are connected with the once on the right. I noticed you were able to map them sepparatly for their own functions so I was wondering if you know what definition is interfering in the default tsi from Numark.

Based on your mapping I now know at least that this must be possible.

Could you help me out?

Headphones and Jog wheels?

Hi Goomo,

Firstly thanks for this TSI file, you must have spent a long time doing it and it’s got some real nice features.

I’m still having a couple of problems (I don’t want to use the Numark TSI because I like the way yours loops and has effects mapped to jog-wheels).

Basically I can’t get a single channel to play through the headphones, only the master volume.

Also the jog wheels only adjust the pitch so the track stops playing, I can’t scratch with them or adjust the pitch by touching the silver part of the platter.

I suspect it could be the version of Traktor Pro 2 I’m using, So could you give me some tips on mapping the jog wheels so they scratch? And making the headphones play properly? Then I can try and fiddle with it myself until it is working…

Hey, hi all, I am using this mapping, however I can’t get my jog wheel to work, it only stops when I touch it…
