Numark Total Control midi probs?
I am using TRAKTOR and it doesn’t seem to want the midi to work am I missing something?
Well what exactly is the problem? Is it mapping or doesn’t Tracktor recognize it?
There`s an icon at the top, near the midi map that should light up if the programm recognizes any midi data sent.
Sometimes (every third start or so) Tracktor does not see my TC either, but usually the problem can be solved by either dis/ and reconnecting the Controller or by restarting Tracktor.
Some people had issues with the first firmware and solved these with a firmware update (didn’t help me though) But you can give it a shot and obtain one at the Numark website
Ok like the volume slider makes the cross fader go back and forth… Thats the midi problem.
Do you use the preset or did you map a new one ?
did you check the midi asignment window in the tracktor settings?
If you have two commands on one slider or whatever, both should be marked yellow if you tick one of them in the editor. Is that the case???
Yes checked it in Traktor set up. Is there midi maps for the Total Control?
