Offering my services out there for my fellow board members (Mastering and consulting)

As the title suggests, I’m offering my services out there for my fellow board members. I’ve been mastering professionally for a little over a year now just by word of mouth, plus offering my advice and ears as a “consultant” if you will for you’re mixdowns and just generally offering an unbiased perspective and offering a more personal, one on one experience instead of just posting your stuff on here and letting people have at it.

I’ve helped a out a few members on here already, just offering my help to everyone else here.

Just shoot a PM, and we’ll talk and see what I can do.

Cheers!

cool!
i will contact you soon!

will be pming ya in the next couple weeks about a remix im doing

No worries mate, just hit me up

How much are you charging?

All depends on what you want, and how much help you need. PM for specific details

just got a master from him…great work…very clean excellent quality…sounds very professional and was even able to meet a time crunch last min

What do you use to master your tracks? Logic?

A hybrid Hardware/Software setup

Are you using an SSL console, or racks and other doohickeys?

I wish I had an SSL! I have some rack mount gear from BLA that I use to add some extra weight and character.

If I ever make a song that Im proud enough of Ill come to you for sure.

Jason helped me a bit with a master a while back and offered some helpful production advice. Definitely a solid resource and he knows what he’s doing.

Why would you master a track? Mastering is only for albums!

So none of the singles that are released are mastered?

None, ever

What woold be the point of doing that??
Please explain , if you can…

You mix a track , you master a album. Thats what i have learned

Same here. But I’ve read that a couple of artists don’t really bother with the mastering. For example, I read a Tommy Trash interview and they asked him what he does to master his music and he said he just puts T-Racks3 on mastering preset 1. Can someone explain this further? The whole mastering concept?

Well, what do you think they’re doing to the tracks on the album? They’re mastering them!
