OSX Mountain Lion is now out! Post your results with various digital DJ programs
About to upgrade to OSX Mountain Lion but wanted to check to see if anyone was a bit more daring than me and has already completed their upgrade?
If I do not hear back I will post results of Mountain Lion + Traktor 2.5.1.

Traktor seems to work just fine, will stress it out more once I get my S2!

That only applies to usb 3.0?
If your still on snow leopard it would be the best $20 you ever spent, but yeah no one is forcing you to do anything
Haha, I’m on lion right now. So I’m happy with what I have.
Plus don’t forget the 20$ allows you to intall on up to 5 macs which is a really good deal if you own multiple machines!
To be honest I’m not really excited about any of the new features.. the only one I can think of is the talk to type, which will probably work like crap
They have to be on the same account? I can’t get 4 of my friends together to throw in $4 a head?
I’m 14, So all I have is my MBP. Took me long enough to get this one, I’d never save up all that for another computer haha.

Well they are supposed to be your own machines but you can burn the downloaded img file to a usb flash card or dvd for installation How to Burn OS X Mountain Lion to a DVD or USB Flash Drive | Lifehacker

I’ve installed it on my iMac and it runs Traktor 2.5.1 and Maschine like a dream I think that Maschine is running better on Mauntain lion. I backed up everything last week just to be ready but it just installed over and everything was still innstalled and ready to go after the upgrade. Those new futures most of them I’ll probable never use and I whis I can find a way to disable that notification thing when I’ll install on my DJ macbook because I hate haveing stuff I never use on a computer.
Its pretty early to say this but I am noticing much more ‘peppiness’ or ‘snappiness’ if you will in everything I have thrown at it. Traktor, iTunes, Chrome, etc, etc. Still testing - should have some more info later today but so far its been great!
