OT: What was your favorite toy/toys when you were a kid?
Fairly generic topic but when you add into account this forum is from people all around the world, of all different ages, and with an interest of things with lots of buttons and knobs I bet there could be a lot of interesting and fun answers!!
I had like 100 and used to bath with them 
Then came the original Nintendo and bye toys!
Best times playing with sticks and kicking rocks around outside.
I also loved playing with Lincoln Logs … but then the Super Nintendo came out

Marbles were also very big back in the day. I had lots of cans full of them until one day I swallowed one and almost die asphyxiated and bye marbles! Also a Lego head was stuck in a nostril for a few hours… thank God mom took it out with a bent wire hanger…
i was an only child so my imagination was my main companion. i used to line up all my stuffed toys and play shop. except i was the shop keeper and the customer. or gather plants from the garden effectively playing the part of the chef and the diner. and i also used to play war, the card game … left hand vs right hand. wooot! and i read alot. sounds pretty lame but i had some epic times with meself.
GI Joe, Transformers, PVC Pipes to shoot skyrockets out of at at stuff.
I had a 6ft Golliwog, not exactly PC but hey, also lived on the farm so did lotsa crazy idiotic kid stuff. Made our own fun. Till we got this …

in no particular order.. Lego, Voltron (classic lion), Transformers (series 1’s), Atari 2600 (original woodgrain), Meccano, Amiga 500, Star Wars (series 1’s), Matchbox Cars.
thats about it, i wish i still had them all… some of that shit is worth good money these days!
My favourite cartoon as a kid!! I spent hours pretending to be one of them lions!!
I also loved playing with broom handles and pretending I was a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle!!
Oh and I loved my football! Simple but effective.
Mine was my knives (as I got older and got into camping and roughing it).
When I was younger…it was Nintendo…Arcade Games…and toy guns.
My Drumkit is got in highschool was wicked too. A white Pearl Export Series.
The consensus seem to point that Nintendo killed traditional toys!
Also Voltron is boss 
Also Thundercats, Silverhawks, Bravestar and M.A.S.K. Shit was cash. Also a crazy thing called Captain Power where during the show there were these flashing strobe like things on screen and you had to zap em with you real toy gun to rack point or something.
And getting the first boner playing Twister… oh my oh my, im getting old.
I remember this guy who had a bike with a little engine and when he entered the campus he would turn it off but the thing also had crank and pedals… To turn it on he would do this thing with the pedals… that was awesome!!
I had a friend with one of those. We tore it up.
