Output midi bpm from serato

Hi!

Im a vj im going to use resolume together with a dj using serato. We want to sync the bpm in serato to the clips in resolume. Im not the dj so are not familiar with werato but wound if its possible to send the bpm out as midi beat from serato.

The dj are using this setup:
serato
mixpro numark

in numark there are no midi out so we need to use an external mididevice.

But is it possible at all to output the bpm through an external mididevice from serato?

Currently this is not possible. Serato does not send this kind of MIDI data out.

That also means it’s not possible to sync external mixer FX’s (when using a mixer with internal audio interface) to the BPM of the track playing in serato?

I believe this possible with the Rane mixers and the Pioneer S9 and DJM900SRT.

With the new partnership between Serato & Roland, I think there’s a good probably we will see MIDI Out in Serato DJ in the near future.

just going to throw this out there - Ableton link then send midi out from Ableton (or any other software that supports link and can send midi out).
