PMC 05 pro II upgrade
hi DJTT forums! I purchasing my first mixer, a used vestax pmc 05 pro II, and was wondering if i should upgrade the components? like new faders and knobs, and maybe a new faceplate. or is does make more sense to just buy a new mixer? for a fader i was thinking a pro x fader and for the knobs the black ones that the DJTT store has. for the faceplat i was thinking maybe a blue one from ebay? or the white pearl one?

if this is your first mixer, maybe you should chill on the cosmetics and just get to know the mixer and the craft first before you go crazy on aesthetics
I don’t see any reason to not bling out the fader with a new faceplate, but you should wait on the cross fader. Get to know the one that’s in there and then when you get the better fader you’ll be able to tell why it’s better.
thanks for the advice guys, i was looking into the the faceplate because the one im going to buy has a dent in the corner, does 150 sound reasonable for the mixer?
are you in california? i can sell you mine for 150 and its dent free!
nah man, im in MD, its a pro II? i may be able to pay shipping, if the price is right
