I’m super confused about the OP-1
On one hand, I feel like they know something I don’t, and have developed a piece of genius gear that’s just waiting to be discovered.
On the other hand, I can’t seriously find a place in most setups for this. Not even going as far as to include Deadmau5 style performing and experimental Electronica shows.
I guess time will tell, but 799EUR sure is steep though 
There are a plethora of ways to include it in your setup.
Examples:
- Perform on it during a break
- Switch temporary to it completely if you’ve got a nice performance to pull off
- Spice up your mix by triggering samples or whatever
You’d just have to try if it works for you or not.
