Price drop Machine and Kontrol S4 (ends 31/8)
According to pro audio star, Native instruments has dropped the prices for machine with 200 dollars, machine mikro and the s4 with 100 dollars. That’s 399 for the machine and 299 for the mikro.
$399 for maschine? Damn good deal. I think I paid $430 for the edu which I just can’t sell- which isn’t such a bad thing. Sucks for anyone who just bought a maschine. wonder how much padi paid…

Yeah- just sucks for anyone who was thinking of selling maschine though. Getting maschine secondhand now will be a pretty decent deal.

On their homepage it is still listed with the regular price…
Only the S4’s price is reduced on the homepage.
The homepages of the retailers that feature the reduced price don’t say anything wether it’s a promotion or not. It is the right time for their usual summer promotion, so it does not necessarily mean new hardware.
as someone who works for an authorized dealer i can confirm all 3 price drops.

Maschine Mikro - 299.99
S4 - 799.99
Not necessarily, the s2 had a price drop earlier. I seriously doubt the Mikro will get replaced, it’s too new.

seems like a better alternative to a Midifighter, value for money-wise anyway.
I saw maschine on Ebay from Pro audio star brand new for $399 yesterday, free shipping too. I think they have been doing that for awhile.
Firesale cause it doesnt work with USB 3.0? …runs to the hills!!!
Does maschine not work on the new macbooks either?
Is in not only NI devices with audio that have problems with USB 3? Maschine/micro should not be a problem as they actualy only send midi
