Pro mapping Hercules RMX v1.2. 4 decks, 4 FX juggle mode.

Finally, after 2 weeks of hard work,(too few modifiers,to much function to assign, its a 2 mb tsi with 3 pages of midi command. I was going crazy) i’ve got for you a complete mapping for
traktor pro and hercules RMX.

4 decks, 4 fx units, juggle mode, shift layout, FX preset

There is only one strange thing, play led buttons are beat phase monitor, this is the only way for making them change when changing deck.
Cause making them on/off leds when deck playing make them freezing during deck changes.

Juggle mode layout image is in the zip file, with the TSI

have a look at the images that explain it, download, and enjoy!!

give feedback, it could have some bugs.

V. 1.1
*correct bug, in shift mode, eq knob were not changing the respective fx 1-2-3 in FX unit 1 and 2

V. 1.2
*correct bug, monitor cue buttons, and some bug when switching juggle fx mode for some buttons.

(I edited some picture from another user of the forum to show the layout, so, thank to him/her and sorry for that, but i’m busy with university and work and mapping stole at me enough time :slight_smile:)

the TSI is in the first post.
If you want a tsi only for 2 decks, (i’m using it right now), that in my opinion is mapped in a better way, let me know and i’ll upload it here

it would be nice, but i changed my gear and i’m using a vci 100 se right now, so i can’t make other rmx mapping. :disappointed:

dont work for me =(

dont know why but this file dont work for me..running traktor 1.2.1 atm…when i import the file and select it.. the assignment table is empty.. any help plz?

Tomorrow i’ll try to re-export the tsi.
I use the last traktor update, 1.2.6 i guess

updated my traktor to 2.1.4 and is working almost at 100% only a few controlers are missing when i hold the switch button =/ i already told you that in the private message (btw aim using the 2 decks file)

i’ll answer also here.
for changing preset or fx, you have to press shift button, but also to be in FX mode!

Is there any way to easily change this mapping to include buttons 3 and 6 in juggling mode? having 6 cue points is kind of important to me.

Yes there is, know i Can’t do it quickly because i selled the rmx long time ago.
I don’t even remember buttons 3 and 6 What they Are for

You can have a peek at my one (updated)

4 decks Via modifiers, Loops, 3 Hot cues (easily changeable to if you remove the erase function from 1-3), Beat Jumps, 4 FX sections, beat Phase LED’s and Transposer :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes almost all the buttons have lost their original functions to make things more sensible (I think) .. both decks a/c b/d are independent rather than using buttons from either site for one deck.

really nice, really liked it, the only thing I dont know how to use is the presets part, i am new in djing so I dont know what you mean with the presets and how to set them up.

hi, i really like your mapping, but I find i bit unconformable the fact that when the FX unit are on, i can not cue or use the volumes to build up the next song, i mean when i activate the FX mode, the faders are used for the jog fx and well, then if i want to use the FXs to build up to the next song i cant. :disappointed:
