Problem with uc 33 traktor and uc Mac os x 10.5.4

Hey guys first i have to say that my english isnt very well but i hope you will understand what my problem is …

Ive got my new Macbook yesterday…and ive installed Traktor …i hooked up my uc 33 to my mac…but in the traktor midi device list i can not see it.
At M-Audio.com is written down that i dont need a driver for this type of controller.

???

Hope you know that prob.
And know some solutions!!!

This may sound stupid but, plug in the device first then start traktor. I know you have to do it in that order on Windows. Not so sure about Mac.
