producers, what audio card you use?

can anyone help me out looking for a new audio interface looking to spend round £100 so looking at the 2nd hand market really.

was going to get the m audio fast track pro or the m audio firewire 410
but after doing a litte digging i hear they crap out and aint very good,but i need the features that these 2 boast i.e phantom power,midi,etc…

anyone have any tips or help would be great?

The ProFire 610 is basically a newer version of the FireWire 410. It’s built and sounds a LOT better than the 410, and has more robust drivers.

I’m using fast track pro, used to be an avid guitar player, now it’s pretty useful to produce!

I use my Audio 8.. there are nuff inputs for live recording… and unless you’ve got sound isolation rooms I can’t see needing more inputs that what the Audio 8 brings… sound quality is excellent too!
