Production ideas, XYconstant deep/garage feel

It would be great to get some technique feedback/ideas on two tracks.
First out is the XYconstants Discoslure remix: The beat (starts at 1:06) has a “sucking vibe” on the end of every bar. This is a the four-to-the-floor kick pattern right? Sounds like one of the kicks w/bass is more emphasized. Any ideas? I am guessing there is a deep bass layer and a top layer for the bass line.
Next is Teemid. Most of his productions has this vibe but its very clear in his most recent remix. I am curious to get tips on how to create such a fat and wide bass/kick feel. Is it a subby kick (808 ish) with a heavily sidechained bassline?
