Question about the software, help me out please!

Just bought the S4 of Ebay, but i didn’t get the software with it.
What do i do know? I have traktor scratch pro installed, but some things are not working right with the controller, like selecting effects etc. Help me out please? what do i do now?

I think you’ll have to sue the controller in midi mode and map it yourself. If you upgrade to T2 I believe it’s supported in HID mode.

Is that a hard? Isn’t there an easy way around? Im still very new to this

The easy way would be to upgrade to T2 which I believe will support the S4 in HID mode.

I guess that’s something i have to buy? What is T2? As i said, im really new :stuck_out_tongue:

Traktor 2. Did the seller tell you he wasn’t shipping the software? Otherwise you should call/mail him.

However, i have scratch pro, what does it cost to upgrade do Traktor 2?

And now when i got it working, the effects stopped working? WTF..

Are you using a paid version of Traktor or a torrent?

Are you adding the S4 via the controller manager? You should be selecting default mapping under S4 and that’s all you need to do. As far as FX goes you have toe enable the FX bank for each deck you want by pressing the 1 and 2 buttons above that deck. It gets a little more confusing if you’re using 4 FX banks. Please read the manual, there’s tons of info in there.

Restored the S4 settings and it’s working. But now:
When i play a song, its always pitchep up?

Any lights working at all? I think you may need to contact the seller.
