Question about Traktor Scratch
I just bought 2 turntables and a mixer, I’m waiting the delivery right now.
I was wondering if Traktor Scratch needs the official soundcards or it works with every 2 ins soundcards?
only certified interfaces or mixers will offer the timecode funktion
there are ways around it.. look up “ghetto timecode” and you should find what i’m talking about.
That ghetto thing doesn’t work anymore. It’s been patched out…

i wonder who was responsible for me not being able to use traktor timecode vinyl and mix externally in ableton at the same time with single soundcard cough cough Karlos splutter cough cough 
But really i dun mind, im mixing in Ableton and M4L solely nowadays anyway.

In my defence i wasnt responsible for it. It was gonna happen anyway cus NI was inundated with Support questions on how to achieve “Ghetto timecode” and they got pissed about people posting videos on YouTube on how to use Traktor with things like Hercules and Maya soundcards.
Oh well. Not the most popular thing ive done but when you work for NI your never gonna be Flavour Of The Month anyway.
