Question about using the X1 live?

hey everyone,

I’m thinking about using just an X1 live but I’m little confused. I know I can use both decks with the X1 but how do I use the upfaders or cross fader? Obviously I’d have to use an external mixer from the club, but is there a certain way I’d have to route in my preferences for it to read the mixer?

You use the X1 to control effects and transport in Traktor. You plug that into your computer. You also plug the Audio 2 into your computer. You route Traktor’s left and right channel outputs to the Audio 2’s outputs. You plug the Audio 2’s outputs into the external mixer, where you would use the onboard EQs, volume faders, and crossfader (i.e. you do not control Traktor’s internal mixer).
