Rane SL1 with Traktor 2
How do I connect Rane SL1 with Traktor 2?
I want a software that is better then Serato and that’s Traktor.
When i connect my Rane to Traktor, i get a bad signal and traktor says that the calibration didn’t work.
Pleas help

You can not use timecode with an SSL box.
Not sure if you can use the SL1 as a regular soundcard either with Traktor. believe only the SL 2,3,4.
So you can’t replace Serato Scratch Live by Traktor?

nothing personal, but you got a legit traktor scratch pro 2 version for 300€, or what ever the price is where you live and did not read the information that it will only work with the ni audio 4 to 10 soundcards before you bought it?
you have to have a traktor scratch pro 2 version, because in traktor pro 2 you can’t calibrate a dvs signal.

even if he did do this, he would still have to atleast know it wouldnt work, you wouldnt spend that much on software to wing it.

But serious answer now, I agree with everyone who says it can’t be done. Sell the SL1 and put that towards an NI soundcard…God knows that a used Rane audio interface is still more expensive than something like a new Audio 6
was not aware that you could not buy it without registered hardware, just thought it would not make sense ti buy it

Nope.
Simple answer:
For DVS use (as in using Traktor Scratch Pro with the Traktor timecoded vinyl) No you can’t - you need either an NI soundcard (Audio 2/4/6/8/10) or a Traktor Scratch Certified Mixer (Korg Zero 4/8, Denon X1500/1700, Pioneer DJM9000 Nexus or an S4)
For Non DVS use (using Traktor Pro with no decks) it’s a bit more complex. I believe there a beta drivers for the SL2/3/4 boxes kicking about but I’m fairly certain not for the SL1 box
Also, people round here get grumpy about posts concerning hacked software - go legit, or go home …

True… anybody using Traktor Scratch with anything other than an NI soundcard or certified mixer is using a cracked or hacked version of Traktor.
Most probably the 1.2.X version that most crack users have as the ability was patched out after 1.2.x

So… what, you joined this forum to post a video of someone using a cracked version of Traktor and you do it with bravado like you have proved someone wrong. If i wasnt a Moderator id tell you to crawl back under whatever slimy rock you crawled from but, i am so, ill just tell you that joining a forum populated by people that pay for their software, just to tell someone they can use a crack is pretty damn stupid.
Btw- i didnt see an SL1 so it could be bullshit for all i know. The video proves jack.
