Recommend some breakbeat house/techno?

Recommend some breakbeat house/techno?

Hey guys,

I’m really into a kind of new take on an old sound - well.. it’s been around forever, just with different interpretations.. however, I’m looking for some more tracks for a set I’m putting together.

The sound I’m looking for is a sort of breakbeat fusion with House/Techno - in other words downtempo breakbeat, but strictly into this underground sound, away from electro, and darker/harder.

Old Rave music would come into this category too!

EXAMPLES would be Special Request and Tessela:

Or alternatively this Last Magpie Remix:

Let me know if you have any examples, I’d love some recommendations!

Hey,
My label, MK837, might have a few tracks you’d like. We release a mix of house, tech house and breaks. Here area couple of recommendations:

Silverfilter - Lei Zer EP

Rikki - Spring Break EP

IannaI - Fruitful

J&M - You’re On My Mind / Alright

Kevin Oneel - Government is the Problem

J&M - Masks

Not all of those are breaks releases, but they’ve all got a similar underground vibe. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

Dave

Type melodica breaks in beatport search go from there

buy all the of the “Rabbit in the Moon” you can buy…

a straight classic…

These are wicked! Exactly what I’m looking for! Instant favorites for me!

Mixing this one into a regular 4 to the floor track is fun

And another -

All these tracks are perfect! Instant purchases! Any more like these?

this may not be exactly what you’re looking for, but anyway

Probably not quite what you’re looking for, but I hope you’ll like it.

Heard this one a while back, absolute banger and just what I’m after

I don’t have a ton of Breaks, but the little that I do have is pretty rad (IMO)

My favorite breaks track.

The Party Pushers ft Mustafa Akbar (Smalltown Romeo Remix - Krafty Kuts Re-Rub)

Hedflux - Mindcell

Off of an album called “Future Rave Anthems”, Running Man - Change Your Ways

Have fun with it, Peace

In terms of breaks with that old school feel about them (but bang up to date new productions), may or may not be what you’re looking for, but hopefully you’ll find something in amongst the following. Also happy to get more specifics if that helps.
