Recording full mixes

Hey guys Im just curious what would be the best way to record a mix with my S4?

Would it be with Audacity?

Straight up in Traktor.

At the upper right hand under FX is a cassette symbol click it. That is your recorder. It will record in wave format what ever is going to your main outs, and when you stop recording it will save it in your audio recordings folder in the tree on the left.

yeah but its guys like you guys that make this place what it is :wink:
even though I’m sure there are many many basic questions, people here tend to answer with out been all smart arsey about it (like too many forums),
as basic as questions can be, there is no silly questions just unasked ones.

after all, its always easier when you know how :slight_smile:

what i do is record in traktor, then use audacity to normalize n export in mp3.

I also record in traktor, although it cuts off at about an hour.

You can change that in preferences.

That is definitely not true.

But, yeah…when you’re mixing internally, recording in Traktor is really convenient as long as you’re not dumb about levels.
