S2 as MacBook soundcard

I was wondering if there was a way to use the S2 as a default soundcard for my MacBook if so could you explain the process of setting that up

Open system preferences, click on sound, click on output, then select your desired sound card

Thanks for the reply I understand that part but no sound comes out of the computer or my speakers what am I missing here

Check that the hardware’s master knob isn’t all the way down. It defaults to outputs 1/2 so you should get sound out of the back. If you want to use the headphones jack then open Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup, Window/Show Audio Window, select your S2, click on Configure Speakers and set it to 3/4.

Cheers I got it working out of the S2 headphone output but I think I need an adapter to plug in my speakers so I can use the 1/2 outputs out of the back
