S2 Map

Am I allowed to advertise?

I have made a map for the s2 that does pretty much everything, it has

4 deck control. 8 hotcues for A&B, Beat grid from controller (delete, set, move & tap mode), 18 different preset jog fx modes (assignable to all 4 decks), Loop recorder control, Delay freeze mode, EQ Kill’s for A&B, Jog Filters, Jog Browser, user selectable fx jogs, and an iPad lemur template for even more visual control.

Its taken me ages and I think its awesome.

Can you possibly make a video demonstrating the features and such? That would be really helpful.

Ive attempted a video a few times, trying to hold an iphone and use a mixer is a nightmare :slight_smile: I will get a video done asap. Il post it as soon as I have

Ok Ive done some small video’s showing some of the features, I’ve also updated the mapping quite alot :slight_smile: new version going out this morning. When the video is on my laptop Il get it on youtube

If someone already has this mapping, I would appreciate some feedback! I am using the DJTechTools’ mapping at the moment but this one catched my interest when jog filters were mentioned.

I really hate the S2’s gain knobs’ click-mechanics and would love a smooth filter experience, hehe. :slight_smile: Are the Jog FX presets the same as in the DJTechTools’ mapping?

Hi mate, the jog fx presets are different to the djtt mapping, they can be assigned to any deck, there are ten preset multi jog fx, assignable jog filters on either side, 8 hotcues for A&B with delete, full C&D control of sample or track decks, you can scratch sample decks too, monitor cues for each deck, quick jog browser also load tracks to c&d, loop recorder control with copy loop to sample deck, eq kill switches for a&b, and single button fx, the jog fx can be changed or individualy disabled while in use.

And today I’ve added a basic iphone lemur add on to quickly remind you whats going on.
It is a seriously huge map, Ive been updating it alot, if you find a fault, Il fix it promptly

It even comes with instructions :slight_smile:

By the way, do you know about the “bugs” when you launch Traktor Pro and the crossfader look like it’s in the center (on screen) even if your S2’s crossfader is 100% left? (Though it can be fixed by moving your crossfader from S2 to 100% right and then back… but still very irritating!)

And the other one (which seems to be only in the DJTechTools mapping) that when you change the loop size 1/32 to 32 back and forth the songs still move only 1 bar forward?

Have you heard of these?

Yeah, my mapping doesnt have either of the problems, loop move works like you want it to and the xfader sits where it should. You can even adjust the x fader curve with my mapping :slight_smile: oh and loop record, and mix record, and some more :slight_smile:
