S4 connector trouble!!!
the usb port on the back of my s4 has shorted out Im supposed to play a party tonight and im wondering if it would be possible to hook my midi keyboard up to my computer and then run a midi cable from the back of that into my s4? would this work?
Would it work? To do what exactly?
The S4 has to be connected via USB, simple as that. The Midi in port wont power the S4.
Hi my name is mike and Im going through Traktor s2 withdraws. my tractor went back for repairs and its been 1 and half week since i seen her. I do not know what to do, i can’t slope or eat or think about my tractor. I NEED HELP !!!
you see it was only 3 weeks after i bought her and the usb port broke. i cried all night long. she is in LOS ANGLES right now cheating on me with another dj. i hope NI tech fixes her soon, cause i can’t take another 2 weeks for her to be back home. i live on this forum day and night looking up djtechtools. i’ve been fan since last summer when i found it be accident.
What happened to the USB port, did it melt, did the plastic in the connector disappear, as that the metal pins are constantly making contact?
Traktor s4/s2 are having problems with USB ports. tried to pull my cable out and the whole orange thing broke.
Just make sure the metal pins don’t connect when wanting to use the s4.
I have done this by cutting up some cardboard just that I am able to plug and unplug the S4. Will try to take some pics later on.
Just make sure the cardboard isn’t too wide that you are no longer able to connect the USB cable.

Who makes the s2 tractor? Is it interim tier 4 compliant how much PTO horsepower?

LoLz, it was a joke originating from the DJTT Anonymous thread.
(Though his problem is serious, he wrote it in a DJTT Anonymous fashion.)
Is there an equivalent solution for the s2? It has a different usb port. I mean, it seems like as long as you don’t yank it the hell out it shouldn’t be a problem, but just wondering if there are any precautionary measures
It seems both the S4 and the S2 have the same USB B connector, so I guess you could do the same trick.
