S4 software/firmware booth output addition request (mods plz read!!)
any chance a booth knob could be added into traktor to control the outputs on the s4? like to put a volume knob on each the 1/4 outs and the phono plug outs? seems like it would just be an easy addition to the firmware and software.
can the mods help me get in touch with NI to reccomend this addition?, that is WELL needed.
or just shoot me down right now if what im talking about is impossible

Don’t think it can be done since the balanced/unbalanced main outs on the S4 are hardwired to output the same audio, it’s not a Traktor limitation.

This topic has been beaten to death. NI has already stated that there are no plans to add a booth out option to the S4. Photojojo’s option is the best method or get yourself a small external mixer to plug into.
I have one of those. Works a treat. You just gotta get the cable adapters.
Oh and just to add. It is physically impossible for NI to implement a separate booth on the S4 with its current construction.
I argued this point to death during the Beta stage of the S4 and it was explained that it could not be done. Both output pairs cannot be separated.
