You see the first sample has a blue arrow pointing right? SEE ATTACHED PIC
The second sample has a green arrow in a circle? SEE ATTACHED PIC
If you click you click the arrows you could select if the sample is going to play once ( blue arrow pointing right) or be playing continuously (green round arrow).
When its in continuous mode it should sync to the master try it out!
i don’t have tpro 2 yet but i had a similar problem with short sample loops in tpro. what i found was that the default length of the loop according to the deck was 16 beats - but the loop was only 4 or 8 so it was beatgridded properly, sync was on and so was quantize and snap and it would phase out.
turns out all i had to do was set the loop length on the deck to the same number of beats that the actual loop was - and it all worked fine after that.
could this be a similar issue? i’m wondering if the sample decks have a loop length selection for the deck or each sample bank? i know the sampler in the middle has a length selection, but if you import from there, it’s obviously going to be fine cause it’s been recorded internally. idk.
eesh. kinda clunky system we have here to work with… i grabbed a loop from a library, dropped it into a sample slot and it didn’t work.
would be great if it simply worked
as for the continuous and play once, yep - aware of that. my loops work fine as long as i grab the loop from the deck playing. but if i import a new loop from library i get the blow out. it drifts off…
ill have to play around a moment more i guess. probably going to remove sample decks from my mapping though. if it’s not key locked and its not capable of re-triggering and syncing… might as well have paid me to eat pizza vs spend it on development of sample decks.
