Samples/loops collection.
I have a pretty small collection and I would like to get a bigger one but I want to do it freely, I downloaded some ArtyTorrent pack on btjunkie.org. Do you know good places when a I can find good free packs??

for ableton?
this site isn’t really friendly with torrenting
yeah for ableton or logic pro. Not neccessary torrants, i just want them to be free.
nothing good comes for free unfortunately.
Or you just don’t know where to look.
Remember that its more fun to find a small collection of good and steady material-samples to layer, compress, eq and voodoo-magic into something unique and personal and just right for the mix rather than just pirating that one samplepack everyone else got. If not just for the sake of the feeling you get when building it up from more or less scratch!
yeah I have personalized some kit in Logic Pro 8 for perso uses i agree w/ that i just wanted a bigger collection in my loops / samples library for a more basic percus sounds.
thanks for those links rhombus its downloaded ![]()
go to loopmasters.com, create an account, and you download demo packs of most of the samples. i’ve gotten some pretty cool movie samples and other cool samples from there.
yeah i know that website i got pretty cool vocals loops for it, i didnt knew that they have some packs to download thx ill take a look 2morrow. ![]()
www.freesound.org as some great free samples
i wouldnt say theyre “free” but there good, cheap, and u get a whole bunch of em. Look for a magazine called computer music, and every month they give u a CD with a bunch of free VST’s (quite good ones actually) and a sample pack, usually with about 1000-2000 samples on it, sometimes more. I have a fair few of them and the samples are quite descent. The magazine is about 20 bucks or so, but i think its worth it as it has a lot of good articles and reviews on new products. It also has tutorials for beginners and for doing certain things, but im generally pretty good with stuff and i think ive only ever used a tutorial once out of the magazine to do something completely whack which i never would have thought of… but its good like that i guess… the samples are not quite as good as say the Vengeance sample packs, but those are like 50-80 bucks each… quite expensive, but worth it IMO for the samples you get.
Look interesting i’ll check this out thanks man
EDIT: hey just realize you from Belgium. French or Flemish?? ![]()
french, but i only just moved here… my parents are French and they moved to australia just before i was born. and i only just came over here about 2 months ago. ![]()
i was thinking of going to france, but its too expensive to live in the city. brussels is like half the price of paris, and theres some great clubs here too. plus paris is only 2 hours away ![]()
Yeah im born in belgium in Liege and now i live in QC, Canada pretty cool place also.
Belgium is the party zone for all crazy rave like ILoveTechno. Im happy you live here

Thanks VanGogo ill check it out!
the magazine, Future Music used to have cd’s with them that had loads of samples. i haven’t bought one in ages, so you might have to see if they still come with cds.
