I don’t think you guys are reading the question right. I don’t think he’s talking about just scratching, but using the Turntable FX in the effect section for scratching.

oh i thought he was talking about just scratching…ya the turntable fx isnt that great the only thing i use on that is the break stop other than that i dont use it much

I’m scratching just fine. TPro 1.1.1, firmware 1.2. I mean, it’s no 1200, but there are plenty of tsi’s out there that make scratching with the wheels decent. In another thread, I even asked Jes C how to emulate the brake similar to the Tech’s. Here’s the thread I was checking:

Would it be possible for you to provide the following…

What tsi are you using ?

What acceloration and Velocity settings are you using ?

I have seen a few good scratches on the VCI-100 on youtube, most notable is DJ Ant
(I think) I believe he has both the 100 and 300 , maybe someone can convince him him to get on the DJTT train.

he traded his vci-100 for a vci-300 - but he uses itch…
i would reeeally be so damn interested in some good settings for the jogs of the vci-300 with traktor… i really don’t like scratching in traktor, itch is far superiour, but as there are people telling me that it’s quite possible - how are your settings in traktor?

Hey-
I used this one: http://www.onetimemusic.co.uk/tsi/VCI-100_MX1.zip

Imported the tsi and boom. Better scratching. Sorry, I’m pretty new to the midi functions, so I’ll have to get back to you on the other settings. Like I said, it’s not exactly a Technic 1200, but I am cutting with it.
