Searching/deleting by file type in Traktor

I got a load of tracks in WMA format but obviously being on mac they aint gonna work. I can search and delete the files on my mac but the tracks will still be seen in Traktor as I dumped them into a playlist within the program. How do I remove them from Traktor’s data base? searching by file type doesn’t work in Traktor.

Use Check Consistency option on your Collection. Then just select Remove missing files.

I just deleted a whole bunch of crap from my laptop and did it this way. Works great, just make sure to do a consistency check before and make sure it comes up zero.
