New town New Face its hard. seem to have to proove myself all over again which is fair enough how do you guys “sell yourself” and get a new gig in a new town?

But no seriously tho

Handing out mix CDs before a party and chat up the organizers etc
or get to know the people who organize parties some other way and just suggest DJing for them
Or hit them up on fb with a professional, well written but not too long motivation letter and a link to a promomix made especially for them.

Normally I put on my 6" pumps, a tiny little barely legal length leopard print skirt, a pink mesh top and stand on the busiest corner in the dirtiest neighborhood. On a bad night, I can usually pick up 5-6 gigs. On a good night, I’m looking at 10-15.
