Sennheiser HD555 or Audio-Technica ATH-M50S?

Hello guys. I am looking for a pair of good headphones that I can use for monitoring while DJing and also listening to everyday music. I listen to a lot of trance.

I am kind of stuck between the Sennheiser HD555s or the Audio-Technica ATH-M50S. Which ones do you guys recommend?

I heard something about how the HD555s are superior in comfort, so that’s a plus. I also heard that ATH-M50s are better in sound. In all honestly comfort is not a big thing to me, but sound plays a big part as I am literally crazy for music quality, especially in trance and I would love to have a good pair of headphones to listen to trance.

Please give me some opinions. Thanks!

keep in mind you can mod the 555’s to make them identical to the 595’s which is a plus

I think I’d certainly pick the senn hd280 pro’s over the senn hd555’s
