Setup for producing Brostep?

I’m wondering what would be the perfect combination to create that dubstep wobble bass. I’m fairly familiar with Ableton Live, so what synths would work well with that? Alchemy, NI Massive, etc. Or should I get the Ableton Suite and use Ableton’s Operator? Anything else that is a must?

Thanks, Mark

massive, albino, sylenth, razor.

Honestly, it’s less about the synths and more about getting everything just right. Working from the ground up so to speak. The dubstep sound isn’t hard to replicate given a bit of time, but it’s the whole composition of a tune which is difficult.

I’ve had best luck getting Albino 3 and Massive making some heavy basslines, but that’s because I’ve spent hours with them and watching a million videos, and I’m only just starting to feel at all comfortable with it.
