should I buy CDJ-350 and DJM-700 ?

Although I’ve been on an around the scene on and off for 15 years. Doing parties, even DJ-ing a few times with Ableton etc. Owned turntables at some point etc. then I haven’t got any gear at the moment and would like to get into it a bit more.

I have an offer to get 2x Pioneer CDJ-350 decks + Pioneer DJM-700 mixer for 1000euros.
Also a metal ca padded case to fit them all.

They’re in good shape. They were in a summer-cinema, mostly only used for corporate events during 4 summers 50-70 times altogether.

This is by no means not my dream setup. That would be something on the lines of Rane2015 mixer + 2x XDJ-1000 + 2 turntables + maybe Traktor X1 MK1.

But that shit is expensive and not able to get at the moment. Thought the setup above for 1000euro could get me going and have something to play around at home for the time being.

Thoughts?

350’s are great if you’re using them with Traktor - but you’ll need a laptop and an audio interface to do that…

what thought’s of the mixer?
I’ve used it and it’s seems fine.

I have M-Audio Fireqire Audiophile and old Firewire Macbook. Could that work?

I could also get a new XDJ-RX for 1500. But for the above setup, I could add maybe technics 1200 in near future.

I FUCKIN’ LOVE the MC-1000.

PERFECT 4 deck + FX control.

If I was starting out again, I’d start out with a mc-1000 and a 4 channel mixer with built in USB audio interface…

The 350s are nice I had a set with mixer and they were fine I just didn’t have room to use them where I wanted to and defeated the purpose of owning them so sold them before they collected too much dust

What are you looking to get out of them? If your dream setup involves XDJ-1000’s wouldn’t you be better of with a DDJ-SX2 or the RX? As far as I know the 350’s can’t even link.

Yeah, I agree. Not good enough CDJ’s and overkill of a mixer for that setup.
