I want to know how and easiest way to get every song in playlist to produce same level of sound.?
Can somebody throw me a rope?

If you’re using Traktor, try turning autogain on.

Or download the free MP3Gain software…

TO PATCH>>>> Thanks for the reply and I have downloaded the MP 3 Gain and will try that>>>> I know there has to be a way in TRAKTOR to do this, but, I don’t know how to get there yet>>>>> So, I will figure it out sooner or later>>> Thanks again for the ROPE>>> I think I can pull myself up from here…

Any gain adjustments Traktor does won’t translate to Ableton. I assume you are trying to play in the later since you posted in this subforum.

Personally, I use Audition for the task and fine tune manually if needed.

Well, I tried what Dj Patch said and THAT did not work>>>>>Maybe I will try AUDITION>>>>> I just need to get my playlist to be level across the board so I don’t have to adjust levels on every other song>>>> I will have to try Audition when I can afford to get it…THANKS

I am going to try AUDACITY and see if that will work>>>>> says DJ Tech TOOL that Audacity is THE BEST in sound level and Mixing AID after the fact>>>>>> I will reserve comment on that until I can see if it works out>>>>> Dam shame that Traktor will not observe normalization sound control…AT least that is what I have come to acknowledge in my unprofessional experience so far>>>>>> Unless anyone has another BRILLIANT IDEA I can try to use>>>>>> Thanks guys for all the comments>>>>> REALLY HELPS!!!

You can use the demo for 30 days without any restrictions.

WELL. I TRIED Audacity and it required plug-in called Lame and that nearly screwed up my computer before I got it deleted out of my system…>>>>whew…/// I will try the AUDITION now>>>> thanks for telling me that I can use it for 30 days FREE>>>>>>> I can’t seem to get ANYTHING to work out…oh well >>>>thanks again guy…I will update you later>>> If nothing else, I guess I can do it the old fashion way and just re-record at a lower octane on db gain and see if I can bring up the level gradually on each song…hate to try to re-record as it puts more trash into the song again and again…WISH ME LUCK…THANKS AGAIN…

How did it nearly screw your computer? that plugin is perfectly safe.

When I down loaded Lame it froze my computer for about a minute..>>> Well, I thought it was a glitch in my system, so I continued on and when I tried working with Audacity, my computer froze when I tried to save the file as an mp3. So, I just gave up with it and determined it must be the program>>>> computer has not frozen like that since I got it last month and I dam sure do not want a program that will freeze my system up…>>>>oh well, I went to Adobe and down loaded Audition for a trial run and I will work with that tomorrow…>>>>I am worn out today after doing all this work and getting absolutely nowhere..>>> Thanks a lot and I will update my results sometime tomorrow after I work with Audition and see if that will work for me…THANKS Again Guy…

mp3gain and/or using a gain knob and headphones.

I just wanted to say “YOUR THE MAN WITH THE PLAN” >>>>> TRIED the Audition software for the 30 day free trial..>>> WORKS>>WORKS>>>WORKS…THANK YOU!!!..>>> I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the help…YOU, MY FRIEND…KNOW what your talking about…>>>>THATS THE GAME RIGHT THERE…>>>…AGAIN…>>THANK YOU VERY MUCH…What I tried all day yesterday to put together I have done in less than two hours…>>>>Thats what I"m taking about…

No worries. Glad you got it sorted
