Soundcard issues syncing ableton to traktor
When I sync Ableton to Traktor my soundcard (dnmc6000) only allows either traktor or ableton use of it. For example When I open traktor first and ableton second, only traktor has use of the soundcard. Not quite sure how to resolve this or is it even resolvable?? In both programs the same sound card is selected. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Only one program can have access to a device at one time. 
Getting another soundcard is the simplest solution for your problem.
well thats incorrect, I can run traktor and ableton synced through my Fast Track pro at the same time.
Are you using a Mac or a PC?

I have a pc, the dnmc6000 has a 2in 2 out sound card. I know that it is possible with the s4 so I doubt it is the soundcard, It could be the pc but im not sure.
