splitting 3.5 to rca’s

i kinda want to move up from mixing on my headphone to using my logitec 230 speakers from mixing
my question is how can i split a 3.5 to rca’s ie into my hercules RMX
i know i can buy splitters but i like macgyver ing things =]

yeah, if you have the wires and skill to do it then do it? cut a 3.5" cable and cut an rca cable- take a 3.5" cable and solder or twist the ground to the ground on both RCA cables and the solder the left and right to the left and right of the 3.5" cable end. It might last you a day or two before you break it.
