Stream?

Hello everybody,

I am starting a new project with two more friends and I am looking for a specific thing. I know there are many dj sets hosts like mixcloud or soundcloud but I was hoping there was some way I could stream the set live.

We study and live in different cities and the idea is to choose a time and a day of the week so that people could listen to us, but not a dj set uploaded…we wanted to mix live so that they could listen to it live.

Do you know something like this?

is this site only for video? we wanted only audio…but maybe this will do it. and yes, different locations..

Most WebRadio I worked for use ShoutCast streaming. Winamp + Dsp, Icecast, BUTT & the likes works a treats and easy to set up on the DJ side.

Now you need a Server.. well, there’s a load of options. If you want to do some test, I already tried listen2Myadio and it was great free option. My knowledge stops here.

Ustream will do just audio, but I’m not sure how you’ll be able to merge the audio from different sources across the Country.
