Yes! i forgot to add, i have a DJM900, but its in for repairs after some drunk spilled his beer on it So at the moment im using the ddm4000, and hope to get my djm900 all fixed up
Haha, well to me i believe if i get the 2000 Nexus’ then it would be the end to all my disease! I would have no excuse for anything better or more expensive because the 2000 would “be” the best/most expensive imo
I’m hesitating between 2k and 2k nexus, and I decided i’ll “just” go for pair of 2k. A part of the decision is because of the Slip feature.
In your case, do you plan on using slip mode for scratching ? (meaning you don’t know how to scratch but you want to act like if you knew) (no offense intended, i can’t scratch for shit either and i’ll never spend a second learning it, it’s not of my taste)
If you plan to use the slip mode just for loops, it’s useless since the DJM’s “roll” effect does the exact same thing.
Just ask yourself if the money difference between 2k and 2k nexus is worth the extra features IN YOUR CASE. If it is, go ahead, if it’s not just buy regular 2k’s.
That’s a reasoning that should help you decide. The only downside of this is the fact that, when you plan to spend a lot, few hundreds won’t really make a difference.
you are basically paying for Wi-fi, slip mode, zoomed in waves, sync, quantize loops with more control on the needle drop. Are those worth the extra $ is what you need to ask yourself.
Perosonally I wonder if pio could release a CDJ-2000 update to include the zoomed in waves, and needle drop loops.
Hmm, so, im thinking the 2000’s it is! I personally dont think the extra 500 dollars for enhanced waves, and slip mode on the Nexus is not really worth it imo
